Olympics 2012 - Closing Ceremony: Best of British Music (?)
If George Michael, The Kaiser Chiefs and The Spice Girls are the best of British Music, I’m going to go down to my kitchen, get the biggest sharpest bread knife there, and fuck myself with it until the linoleum is a different colour.

freespiritnude-deactivated20120 asked: hi there :) how are you ? You might remember and recognize me ? If not nothing lost lol :)
Hello Simon!
Yeah, I remember and recognise you. A bit of a shock to see you so naked though.
All good here thanks, how about you? A bit cold? Haha.
You just jogged my memory: I still haven’t applied for this year’s Pride volling. Hmm.
The Walking Dead 30-day Challenge
I have some catching up to do.
2.) Favourite female character? Why?
The word ‘favourite’ implies that there are actually any that I like. That is not the case. The one I dislike the least is probably Maggie, because so far she hasn’t done anything actively idiotic.
3.) Lori/Shane or Lori/Rick?
This shouldn’t even need answering. Lori and Rick.
4.) What survivor would you be 100% okay with if they were killed next episode?
Carol. She doesn’t contribute anything to the story any more (except being a shit-stirrer), and her contributions to the group of survivors (washing clothes) could be replaced by anyone with hands. Her whining annoys me.
5.) On a scale of 1-10 how scary do you think the show is?
About an eight. Very little to do with the zombies though. These kind of programmes explore humanity, and the awful things some people will do to survive, and that’s why it’s scary.
6.) Has there been any specific walker that scared you the most? Why?
I don’t find roamers particularly scary, because normally they’re on their own and can be seen (because they’re actively looking for prey). It’s the lurkers that scare me, like the one that got Dale. It scared me that even though it had eaten, it still attacked; that begs the question, “Do they actually hunt for sustenance, or is it purely destructive, or is it a form of relentless reproduction?”.
Saying that, Shane was terrifying once he had turned.
The Walking Dead 30 Day challenge
1. Favourite male character? Why?
Dale Horvath. He brings the wisdom and presents the view opposing the animalistic survivalist one, to remind the cast of the civilised society they come from, and appeals to their humanity. It accentuates the issues within the group and adds to the tension (which is why it’s good for the TV show), but it’s also an absolutely necessary position to be occupied under those circumstances, especially when considering execution of someone who is, as yet, innocent.
Shane: “There are 30 of them and 12 of us”
Dale: “And killing him doesn’t change that”
Shane: “N’aww, b-“
Dale: “But it changes us!”
I just love him.
I wish I could say my favourite is Rick, but it’s not. I like them all for different reasons, even Shane.
We’re among them - and when we finally give up, we become them! We’re living on borrowed time here. Every minute of our life is a minute we steal from them!
You see them out there. You know that when we die, we become them. You think we hide behind walls to protect us from the walking dead! You don’t get it?
